GdYO4(Nd) | Laser Crystal is one of the active laser mediums for diode laser-pumped solid-state lasers. It has advantages of high gain, low threshold, high absorption coefficients, and wide bandwidths at pumping wavelengths, which result from the fit of the neodymium dopant in the crystal lattice. GdVO4(Nd) crystal also has the advantage of higher slope efficiency than YAG(Nd) as well as better thermal conductivity and higher power output than YVO4(Nd).
