It consists of two, three, or more parts of material with different doping levels, combined by optical contact methods and further bonded under high temperatures. Diffusion Bonded Crystal helps to decrease the thermal lens effect considerably. This bonding technology in laser applications not only improves the laser performance and beam quality, but is also conductive to the integration of laser systems and access to large-size crystals.
