Description
CaF2(Eu) | Scintillation Crystal is a scintillator with stable chemical and physical properties capable of charged particle, low gamma ray, and beta ray detection.
CaF2(Eu) | Scintillation Crystal is a scintillation material that has the advantages of being non-hygroscopic and relatively chemically inert. Typically, CaF2(Eu) is used for detection of beta rays due to its relatively small backscattering, though it can also be used for detection of charged particles and soft gamma rays up to several hundred keV. However, it is not suitable for detection of high-energy gamma rays because of its small photofraction.
