Description

6Li-Glass | Scintillation Crystal (cerium-activated lithium silicate glass scintillator) has been used for a variety of radiation detection applications such as alpha, beta, gamma and neutron detection. Neutron detection is based on a neutron and 6Li nuclear reaction. 6Li glass scintillator has advantages of short decay time, good temperature stability, and high slow-neutron detection efficiency. Additionally, it is non-deliquescent, acid and alkali resistant, and high/low temperature rapid-change resistant, so it can be used in an environment where corrosive liquids and vapors exist.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Neutron flight time experiment
  • Petroleum well logging
  • Moisture content measurement
  • NDT and neutron photography
